Of the 13 foreign players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for Ukraine's preparation for Euro-2024, eight played in their club matches last weekend.
On Saturday, August 17, in the first round of the English Premier League, "Arsenal" Oleksandr Zinchenko (substituted at the 69th minute) won against "Wolverhampton" (2:0), "Bournemouth" Iliya Zabarnyi (full match) drew away with "Nottingham Forest" (1:1), and "Everton" Vitaliy Mykolenko (full match) lost at home to "Brighton" (0:3).
In the opening round of Italy's Serie A, "Genoa" Ruslan Malinovskiy (substituted at the 71st minute) drew their home match against current Italian champions "Inter" (2:2).
In the first round of Greece's Super League, "Olympiacos" Roman Yaremchuk (substituted on at the 81st minute), making his official debut for Oly, won away against "Volos" (2:0).
In the second round of Portugal's Primeira Liga, "Benfica" Anatoliy Trubin (full match) crushed "Casa Pia" in Lisbon (3:0).
In the third round of Austria's Bundesliga, LASK Maksym Taloviyev (substituted on at the 46th minute) conceded to visitors from "Salzburg" in Linz (0:1).
Finally, on Sunday, August 18, Artem Dovbik (substituted at the 90th minute) made his debut for "Roma" in an away match of Italy's championship against "Cagliari" (0:0).
