In group «A», Chernivtsi «Bukovyna» had to capitulate against «Agrobusiness» with a score of 0:1, after receiving support from 1,800 fans. The guests opened the scoring in the 15th minute thanks to an accurate shot by Andriy Globa, who was recovering from an own goal in a recent cup match in Mykolaiv, and immediately began to slow down the pace, trying to make life difficult for the hosts with tight defense.

After halftime, Valery Krivenцов's wards took up aerial duels to break through, but even this did not help as «Agrobusiness» confidently played in the second half. The guests deservedly take the lead and become sole leaders.

In group «B», the favorite, «Metalist 1925», had better luck against «Kremen». This match was held in Horyn Plevnya as Kremenchuk does not have a stadium that meets first league requirements. In terms of creating goal-scoring opportunities, the Kharkiv team dominated the nominal hosts, but this was insufficient for victory. Indeed, it was «Kremen» who took the lead on the 65th minute when Zlat Zlatev corrected the flight of the ball into the net. However, the most active player among the Kharkivians, the foreigner Ari Moore, set the final score under pressure in the match's closing moments — 1:1.

The most goal-laden game of the round was played in Mykolaiv where «the city dwellers» hosted «Prykarpattia». Despite significant personnel losses, the hosts confidently took the lead — 4:2, proving they will fight for top positions in group «A». For the Zakarpattians, Artur Remennyak scored a brace. Following this victory, head coach Zeljko Lubenovic announced he had changed his mind about resigning after meeting with the president of FC Mykolaiv and there is understanding regarding solving the team's pressing issues.

Meanwhile, Mykolaiv's neighbors from Husyatyn put up fierce resistance to the Ternopil «Niva», but suffered their second consecutive defeat this time with a score of 2:3 and found themselves at the bottom of the league table.
