Ukrainian referees to officiate 2024/2025 Europa League qualifying playoff match

A Ukrainian refereeing team will officiate the first leg of the 2024/2025 Europa League qualifying playoff round between Braga (Portugal) and Rapid (Austria), scheduled for August 22. UEFA's official website reported this information. Mykola Balakin will be the main referee, assisted on the lines by Oleksandr Berkut and Dmytro Zaporozhenko. Denys Shurman will serve as the fourth official. The VAR system will be overseen by Dutch officials Dennis Higler and Edwin van de Graaf.
