The cycle of activities within the UEFA PLAYMAKERS project, implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association together with the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Football Association, was successfully held in Kalush at the local school № 3.

The sections of the UEFA PLAYMAKERS center are led by the project's coaches Yuriy Bohdan and Oksana Afanasieva.

Yuriy Bohdan notes: "Thanks to the UEFA PLAYMAKERS program, girls from our lyceum had the opportunity to get acquainted with football, improve their physical fitness and become fans of this sport. This program provides girls with an innovative, fun, and safe introduction to learning football through play and storytelling."

Thank you for the creativity in implementing a new approach to training, specifically using interesting Disney stories as a tool for training and acquiring football skills.

I am confident that these activities have been a driving force for girls' serious interest in women's football.

Objectives of the UEFA PLAYMAKERS program, implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

• to introduce girls to football by creating an environment where fun, friends, and football are at the center;
• to implement a new individual coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by stories and Disney characters) as a tool for training and acquiring football skills;
• to refine girls' life skills, basic movement skills, and teach them the basics of football to foster lifelong interest in the sport.
