Clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League continue preparing for the new season. Here are the latest news from our teams' camps.

The Donetsk "Shakhtar" completed their summer training camp in Slovenia, which lasted from June 24th. The team played its final friendly match before the start of the new season's national league against Zagreb's "Dinamo," resulting in a draw—2:2. After this game, the miners returned to Ukraine.
Kyiv's "Dynamo" remained in Lublin after their first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League against "Partizan" (6:2). The team trained there until the end of last week and on Monday departed for Belgrade to play a return match today, July 31st.
The Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" held its first training session after returning from Slovenian camps on Saturday. After working out in the gym, the team spent one and a half hours practicing with balls at one of their club's fields. On August 3rd, "Kryvbas" will play their first match of the UPL season against "Chornomorets" at the "Girnik" stadium in Kryvyi Rih. The red-and-white team will prepare for the game with Odessa-based opponents through single training sessions.
Zhitomir's "Polesye" made its debut in European competitions, losing to Slovenian "Olimpija" (0:2) away in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Conference League. As part of their preparation for the return match, Zhitomirians played a friendly against "Polesye-2" (1:2). The second meeting with the Slovenes will take place on Thursday, August 1st, at the Municipal Stadium in Polish Gliwice.
Lviv's "Rukh" held their first friendly match in Ukraine after returning from Slovenian camps. Vitaliy Ponomaryov’s wards played against "Agrobusiness" (2:0) at the club base. The Lvivians will play another friendly match on Saturday, August 3rd.
Cherkasy's "LNZ" played their last friendly match during summer training camps. Underhead coach Andres Carasco’s wards defeated local "Kolos" (2:1) in Kovalyivka. Regarding personnel news, the club extended defender Oleksandr Kaplienko's contract for another two years.
"Oleksandria" has been marked by more transfer news during this off-season. The team signed defenders Artem Shabanov and Mykita Kravchenko from "Polesye," as well as midfielder Dmytro Mishnyov from "Zorya." On July 27th, Oleksandrians played a friendly match against Odessa's "Chornomorets" (2:0).
Polтava's "Vorskla" concluded their preparation for the new season with a friendly match against first league representative SK "Poltava." The local derby on the "Vorskla-Change" stadium in Nizhniy Mlyny ended in a draw (1:1). Now, under Sergei Dolgansky's guidance, they await their opening match of the season—against "Shakhtar" on August 4th.
Luhansk "Zorya", returning from a summer training camp in Slovenia on July 24th, finally won their final friendly match against Saudi "Al-Taawun" (2:0). The team is now preparing for the start of the new national championship season in Kyiv.
Kovelsky "Kolos" played their last summer training camp friendly on July 26th. Kovelskis lost to "LNZ" with a score of 1:2. Now, the team is directly preparing for its opening match in the new UPL season against "Obolon." The game will take place on August 4th in Kyiv. Regarding personnel news—Brazilian forward Lucas Rangel left the Kolos squad.
Odesa's "Chornomorets" played a friendly match away from home against "Oleksandria" (0:2) on July 27th. The team bolstered its lineup with central defender Boris Lototsky, who previously played for Vinnitsa's "Niva."
Rivne "Veres" concluded their pre-season friendlies with a loss in the capital to "Obolon" (2:5). After returning from Kyiv, Rivenians played against amateur team "Molodizhne" from Rivne's championship on July 27th (8:1).
"Obolon" conducted a general rehearsal before the start of the Ukrainian Championship in Kyiv. Under Valeriy Ivashchenko’s guidance, they won against "Veres" with a large score (5:2). On Saturday, August 4th, the team will play their first league match at home against "Kolos."
"Ingulets" concluded its summer pre-season friendlies on July 23rd in Cherkasy with a draw against "LNZ" (0:0). The goalkeeper Valeriy Voskonyan left the team.
