The Ukrainian Football Association, in cooperation with the Internet radio for the blind "Homer" and agency Slovo, is preparing an audio-described commentary of the Slovakia vs Ukraine match for visually impaired fans.

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) conducts audio-described commentaries for each match in this continental premiere with the aim of bringing the event closer to blind and low-vision individuals. 

An audio-described commentary is created to provide visually impaired fans with additional information about what happens during the match, and a specially trained commentator adds more detailed descriptions of events. This includes describing the position of the ball on the field, body language and facial expressions, essentially every visual information that is important for conveying the story of the match.

The Ukrainian Football Association and the Ukrainian Football Association for People with Disabilities, together with radio "Homer" and agency Slovo, supported by technical support from media service MEGOGO within the initiative "Watch as You Listen," have embraced UEFA's innovation. 

On June 17, they already conducted an audio-described commentary of the Romania vs Ukraine match (3-0), and today will provide this service during the Slovakia vs Ukraine match. The encounter between blue-and-yellow and Belgium will also not be overlooked.
