The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) at its 74th congress determined the winner of the tender for hosting the 2027 Women's World Cup.

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) at its 74th Congress determined the winner of the tender for hosting the Women's World Cup in 2027.

After South Africa, as well as the USA and Mexico (jointly) withdrew their bids, Brazil and a joint bid from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany participated in the competition. During the voting at the FIFA Congress in Bangkok (Thailand), Brazil won.

The tournament will feature 32 national teams. Specific dates and the format of qualification will be announced later. This will be the 10th Women's World Cup. The last one, held in 2023 by Australia and New Zealand, was won by Spain.
