Today, on May 8, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a decision to extend the state of war until August 11, 2024.

The state of emergency in Ukraine extended until August 11, 2024

This refers to the relevant Presidential Decree of Ukraine «On Extending the Period of Martial Law in Ukraine», which provides for the extension of the period of martial law from 5:30 AM on May 14 for a period of 90 days.

The decree of the president extending the period of martial law in Ukraine was approved by 339 deputies.
