“We have already analyzed our opponents, watched matches of the Croatian national team. However, we will prepare more thoroughly for Croatia after playing against Kosovo. We have studied this team, watched their games and conducted tactical training sessions. It won't be easy since there are no easy opponents these days. As I've said before, our group is very balanced. The Kosovo team has performed well in the League of Nations, moving from League C to B. In February, they also did exceptionally well at Turkish Women's Cup, winning all three matches,” — head coach Volodymyr Pyatenko noted.

The live broadcast on YouTube channel of UAF will start today at 18:00.

Seven remaining spots will be contested over two rounds of playoffs. In the first round, teams finishing third and fourth in League A groups play against group winners and three best runners-up from League C. Eight winners advance to the second round.

In another path, four group winners and two best second-placed teams from League B compete against remaining two second-placed teams and four third-placed teams from League B. Six winners move on to the second round.

In the second playoff round, 14 national teams will directly contest seven spots in the Euro 2025 final tournament which is set to have a total of 16 participants.

Paths for teams in knockout matches may be adjusted based on Switzerland's performances as they play in League B but represent the host country at Euro.

If Switzerland finishes first, second or third in their group of League B, then the best fourth-placed team from that division will enter the playoffs.

Ranking Up and Down

Parallelly, teams also compete for positions in the next league cycle 2025—2027:

— winners and runners-up of second and third places in League A groups remain in League A;

— runners-up and three best third-placed teams from League B groups remain in League B;

— runners-up, third-placed and fourth-placed teams from League C groups remain in League C;

— group winners from Leagues B and C move up to a higher division;
