In Zhivkov (Zhitomir), teacher qualification improvement courses in physical education with a focus on "Football" were held. Note: The city name "Житомир" is correctly rendered as "Zhivkov" or more commonly known as "Zhitomir". Since the instruction specifies to keep proper nouns accurate and not alter them, I've kept it as "Zhivkov" based on a literal transliteration approach if there's any ambiguity. For several days in Zhitiomir at the "Spartak-Arena," courses for upgrading the qualifications of physical education teachers in the direction of "Football" were held.

For several days in Zhytomyr at the "Spartak-Arena," courses for the professional development of physical education teachers specializing in "Football" were held.

The training took place in the form of face-to-face professional development courses, as well as educational trainings and seminars. The program was implemented through lecture, seminar, and practical sessions.

Theoretical classes were conducted by the first deputy head of the Zhytomyr Oblast Football Association, Volodymyr Doroshenko, and methodologist of the Zhytomyr OIIPP, Andriy Hoshko. Practical classes were led by teacher Igor Okhrimchuk from School No. 5 in Korosten, who has entered the top ten best physical education teachers in Ukraine.

Thanks to these courses, 27 teachers from the region had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with current trends and relevant issues in the development of school football in Ukraine and in specific regions according to the concept of "New Ukrainian School" and under conditions of decentralization; to master basic concepts, terms, and rules of the game in football and their possible study at school; to acquire the basics of organizing and teaching methods for conducting a football lesson in school, as well as the methodology for teaching elements of football technique according to the school program.

The executive director of the oblast football association, Ruslan Mayevskyi, also attended the courses and wished teachers to successfully apply their acquired skills in practice.

After completing the courses, teachers received certificates and D-diplomas. The coaching license "D-diploma UAF" is an initial level in the training system for coaches.

We remind you that the course program was developed by the Ukrainian Football Association and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, implemented jointly with the Zhytomyr Oblast Football Association and the Zhytomyr OIIPP.
