The blue-and-yellow team is finishing their final preparations for the decisive match against Iceland. The national team's mood ahead of the encounter was shared by goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

"Everything is good, training went well, we tried out the pitch. It’s an average field, but it’s this time of year... The team’s attitude is combative, there’s no other way. There's a decisive game ahead. We need to prepare as best we can and give everything."

Iceland — is much tougher than Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it’s an organized team, even more physical. In my opinion, with slightly more experience. The game will be much harder and more demanding. We’ve been preparing for this. If you want to qualify for Euro, you have to beat anyone.

The difficult situation in Ukraine affects us every day. We've talked about it a lot already: when you go to training, all the news pops up. It’s not harder on us than it is for people in Ukraine, but it has its impact. We will do everything we can so that the country and people are proud. This might be small, but it's important," — said Andriy Lunin.

We remind you that the final match of the Euro 2024 playoff between the teams of Ukraine and Iceland will take place today, March 26, at the "Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw" in Wrocław, Poland, starting at 8:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Kyiv time).
