The national team of Ukraine held a pre-match training session on the field where tomorrow's match will take place. The day before the match, the blue-and-yellow began their work early: at 11 AM, there was a theoretical session for the squad.

At 4:25 PM, the bus with Ukraine’s national team set off from Sarajevo to Zenica. The road to the "Bilino Polje" arena actually runs along the Bosna River, which winds through Bosnia and flows into the Sava, carrying swift waters to the Danube. The distance from Sarajevo to Zenica is 72 kilometers — a quarter of the 308-kilometer length of the Bosna River. The Ukrainians covered this stretch by bus in just 50 minutes, crossing the mentioned river more than twenty times.

In the evening in Zenica, it noticeably cooled down — a sign of early spring. At the same time, the grass on "Bilino Polje" is of good quality: football players characterized it as fast.

All 28 players participated in the official training session, including Viktor Tsygankov, who along with the team completed all warm-up exercises. In particular, there was work with balls: control and possession, passing.

In the main part of the evening session, attention was given to direct preparation for tomorrow's match: rehearsing combinations with noticeable rotation of performers.

As head coach Serhiy Rebrov mentioned at the pre-match press conference, all players are working responsibly and diligently, so it will be very difficult for him to make a selection of 23 players for the matchday squad. We'll find out about the first eleven tomorrow — 75 minutes before the start of the game.
