Agreement has been reached for the Ukraine national team to play against one of the most decorated teams in the world — the Germany national team on June 3. The match will take place at the Max Morlock Stadium in Nuremberg (kickoff at 8:45 PM local time).

As a reminder, before this encounter, Ukraine had faced the German national team nine times — four matches ended in draws, and five were won by the German team.

The last match against the German national team was played last year: in June 2023 in Bremen, neither side could claim superiority — a 3-3 draw.

This was the first match at the helm of the Ukraine national team for Serhiy Rebrov.

Earlier, agreements were reached to host friendly matches in June against Poland (June 7) and Moldova (June 11).
