This training complex is very popular among well-known European teams that often hold their camps in Marbella. Its main value lies, of course, in the excellent quality of the grass, which is enhanced by the ideal climate conditions for football on the Spanish coast. By 11 AM, the temperature is already +17°C, and within two hours it warms up to 20–21°C — this is in March. The contrast with our latitudes is noticeable.

The morning training of the blue-and-yellow team began with a run and passing drills. After this, the coaching staff focused on combinations and finishing attacks as well as work during pressing.

Immediately after lunch, two of our "Englishmen" joined the national team. Vitaliy Mykolenko arrived from Faro in Portugal, where his Everton had a training camp during their break in the English Premier League, while Illia Zabarnyi flew in from London: his match with Wolverhampton was postponed due to the latter's participation in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Both boys were very happy to see friends from the national team — and vice versa.

Considering the long journey and participation in their club training, both defenders did a light run around the field in the evening, supplemented with myofascial release (muscle and fascia relaxation) using rollers.

Meanwhile, the entire team worked on tasks set by the coaching staff during the evening training session. The main part of the work was dedicated to tactics and structuring the game.

Tomorrow, Ukraine's national team will continue its training camp in Marbella.
