Experienced half-back of Bosnia and Herzegovina's national team Miralem P’janić spoke about his team's motivation before the match against Ukraine and gave a character assessment of Serhiy Rebrov's wards.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will start training for the Euro 2024 playoffs on Monday, March 18 in Sarajevo. This was announced by the official website of the Football Federation of BiH.

In the semifinal match on March 21 at the "Bilino Polje" stadium in Zenica, the "Dragons" will face Ukraine. One of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most experienced players, Miralem P’janić, spoke about his team's immense motivation before the match against Serhiy Rebrov's wards.

"I am looking forward to a match of my life and I hope to go with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Championship. This is the first time in history that I was in the form of my country at the World Cup, and I would like to be at Euro — we have never participated there yet." A difficult match awaits us, but there is great motivation plus supporters who will become an advantage for our team.

Ukraine has a very strong team. This is a young and powerful collective. I have watched them several times and see that this is a very good team that caused a lot of trouble to Italy in qualification. And it speaks eloquently about the quality of the blue-and-yellow.

In previous playoffs, we were unlucky. We need to be psychologically prepared for such matches. We have several players who have more experience than the youth and we must pass it on to the whole team. I am eagerly awaiting our future meeting and approach it with great motivation.

We have fantastic supporters, and I hope we can make them happy, as well as the whole country. For all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it would mean a lot if we made it to Euro, and we will do everything to make this happen," said Miralem P’janić.
