The qualification for the 2025 European Championship among women's teams in a new format will take place from April to December 2024 and will determine which 15 teams join the host, Switzerland.

The draw for Leagues A, B, and C will take place on March 5. The final standings of the teams in the leagues will be determined after the League Nations-2023/2024 play-off matches, which will take place in February.

The distribution of tickets for Euro-2025 will occur based on the results of the next league cycle. The top eight teams in League A (first and second places) will qualify directly to the final tournament. If the host country, Switzerland, does not qualify through qualification, it will still be guaranteed a spot.

The remaining spots will be contested in two rounds of play-offs. In the first round, teams that finish third and fourth in League A will play against group winners and three of the best second-placed teams from League C. The eight winners advance to the second round.

Four group winners and two of the best teams finishing second in League B will face off against the remaining two second-placed teams, as well as four third-placed teams from League B. Six winners proceed to the second round.

In the second round, 14 national teams directly compete for seven spots at the Euro-2025 final tournament, where a total of 16 participants are expected to take part.

Recall that from February 23 to 28, four group winners of League A (Spain, Netherlands, Germany, France) will determine the first ever champion of women's League Nations. The final stage will take place in a one-off play-off system.

The finalists will also participate in the Olympics together with France (host of Igor-2024). If France plays in the final of the League Nations, its spot will go to the bronze medalist of the tournament.

Also, it was determined the pairs for play-off matches between teams from Leagues A, B and C who are vying for retention in their division or promotion to a higher class. All matches will take place during the period of February 21-28.

The Ukrainian team will face Bulgaria in the play-offs. During the draw, Ukraine was seeded, so the first match will be away.

Match Bulgaria — Ukraine will take place on February 23 at the central stadium "Arda-Arena" in the Bulgarian town of Kırklareli. The start time will be announced separately. The return match Ukraine — Bulgaria will be played on February 27.
