Six out of ten foreign players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for Ukraine's Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy in November played Christmas weekend matches with their clubs.

On Friday, December 22, in the 17th round of Serie A, Ruslan Malinovskiy helped Genoa defeat Sassuolo away (2:1).

On Saturday, December 23, in the 18th round of the English Premier League, Vitaliy Mykolenko lost to Tottenham in London (1:2), Iliya Zabarny helped Bournemouth beat local Forest in Nottingham (3:2), and Oleksandr Zinchenko played to a draw with Liverpool at Anfield Road (1:1).

On Sunday, December 24, in the 19th round of Belgium's Pro League, Sergiy Sydorchuk played to a draw with Antwerp on their home field — 2:2.

Finally, on Sunday, December 24, Mikhail Mudryk helped Chelsea lose to Wolverhampton (1:2).
