"Unfortunately, due to the war with Russia, it is not possible to organize international football matches on Ukrainian territory. Therefore, after consultations with the coaching staff, the UAF presidency chose Wrocław in Poland. Among other factors influencing our decision was the experience of organizing a Euro 2024 qualifier match between Ukraine and England that took place on September 9, 2023. The packed stands of the 45,000-seat stadium emotionally supported the Ukrainian national team, which drew with the group leader — 1:1. I hope that in March next year, the Ukrainian national team will achieve a result in Wrocław that will satisfy us all," — said First Vice President of UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko, who heads the presidency of the Ukrainian Football Association.

On March 26, the final will take place, where the winner of the Bosnia and Herzegovina — Ukraine match will face the winner of the other semi-final —  Israel — Iceland (if blue-and-yellow do not advance past the Balkan team, then on March 26 they will host in Wrocław the losing side from the parallel match).
