Today, on December 8, two matches of the 17th round of the Ukrainian Championship in the elite division took place.

A draw was recorded in Zhytomyr between "Polska" and "Dnipro-1", while in Lviv, "Shakhtar" defeated "Veres". Players who were called up for the November national team selection appeared on the field: in the lineup of "Dnipro-1" — Svatok and Pikhaylonok, in Shakhtar's squad — Riznyk, Bondar, Matviyenko, Zubkov (goal, assist, missed penalty, substituted at 88th minute), Sudakov, Sykan (substituted at 62nd minute), Nazarina (came on as a substitute at 65th minute).
