The Ukraine team, which ranked in the second pot of League B, will play all its home matches on neutral grounds according to a UEFA decision. The reason is clear — Russia's military aggression and ongoing hostilities within our country’s territory. In turn, the occupying country remains outside civilized football circles. UEFA did not include Russia's national team in the list of participants for the League of Nations draw for the 2024/2025 season.

"The terrorist state must bear full responsibility for its crimes. Football is no exception. The position of the UAF — clear and unequivocal, and there can be no compromise on this issue. We are grateful for UEFA's support and consistent stance, which continues to keep Russia in a complete football isolation," — noted First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.

Recall that the League of Nations draw for 2024/2025 will take place on February 8, 2024, in Paris (starting at 19:00 Kyiv time), UEFA reports according to the decision of its executive committee.

In divisions A, B and C there will be sixteen teams each, while division D will feature six teams.

Ukraine is in the second pot of League B and will face one opponent from each of pots 1, 3, and 4.

The pots were formed according to the ranking of national teams based on the results of the League of Nations-2022/2023. Russia, the only UEFA member not allowed to participate in competitions again.

Pot 1: Austria, Czech Republic, England, Wales.

Pot 2: Finland, Ukraine, Iceland, Norway.

Pot 3: Slovenia, Ireland, Albania, Montenegro.

Pot 4: Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Kazakhstan.
