The administration of the Ukrainian Football Association has received properly documented written resolutions from the management bodies of 32 members of the UAF requesting a special congress. Additionally, the members of the UAF have proposed an agenda for the extraordinary congress.

According to the Statute of the UAF (Article 19, Paragraph 2), “The Executive Committee of the UAF is obliged to convene a special congress if not less than three-quarters of the total number of members of the UAF in their management bodies have provided written resolutions (protocols or extracts from them) with such a proposal. If this requirement of the members of the UAF for convening an extraordinary congress is not fulfilled, these members have the right to convene an extraordinary congress themselves”.

It is known that 40 organizations are members of the UAF. Accordingly, three-quarters make up 30 of them. Thus, the procedure for convening a special Congress of the UAF has officially begun. The Ukrainian Football Association has already informed FIFA and UEFA about this.

According to the Statute of the UAF (Article 19, Paragraph 4), “an extraordinary congress must be held no later than within 60 days from the date when the administration of the UAF received properly documented proposals”.
