The head coach of the Italy national team, Luciano Spalletti, shared his impressions from the Euro 2024 qualifier match against Ukraine, in which his team secured a needed draw (0:0):
"I heard many discussions that Italy qualified for Euro but with fear. Perhaps this is related to the start of the tournament. Maybe so. But I accepted this job to lead the team to the European Championship, and I have done it.
I enjoyed how we moved the ball in the game against Ukraine. Ukraine did a good job, and this match was completely different from our previous victorious encounter with North Macedonia."
