On October 15 in Zhytomyr, five veteran teams played for the Cup of Zhytomyr at the "Spartak Arena." The tournament was held in memory of USSR Master of Sports and Honored Coach of Ukraine, as well as former director of SDJUSSHOR "Polesye," Mykola Syusyry.

The participating teams were "Polesye" (Zhytomyr), "Zorya" (Romaniv), "Techfon" (Lubartiv), "Veteran" (Ruzhin), and "Mal" (Korosten). The tournament was held in a round-robin format, with each match consisting of two halves of 15 minutes.

As a result, the winner of the Cup of Zhytomyr was the team "Polesye." Second place went to "Mal," and third place to "Veteran."

After the conclusion of the tournament, the winners were greeted and awarded by the head of the Zhytomyr Oblast Football Association Ruslan Pavlyuk, first deputy chairman and head of the association's veterans committee Viktor Radushynskyi, and executive director of the association Ruslan Mayevskyi.
