Girona FC doctors confirmed to their colleagues from the national Ukraine team that Viktor Tsygankov needs at least three weeks for recovery of the quadriceps muscle in his right leg, which was injured during the match against Real Madrid, and an additional week for preparation for his next possible match.

Viktor himself informed the head doctor of the national team Roman Zhlobaylyuk and the coach of the blue-and-yellow Sergei Rebrov about this. It is now clear that Tsygankov will not be able to help the team in October's Euro 2024 qualifying matches.

We wish Viktor a speedy and reliable recovery and look forward to his return during the national team's November gathering.
