Of the 12 foreign players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for Ukraine's national team matches in September to qualify for Euro-2024, nine of them played this weekend with their clubs.
On Friday, September 15, Serhii Sydorchuk made his debut for "Waasland-Beveren" in the Belgian league's seventh round match where his team lost to "Antwerp" (0:3).
On Saturday, September 16, in the fifth round of Portugal's Primeira Liga, Anatoliy Trubin, in his first match for "Benfica," helped the Lisbon team defeat "Vizela" away (2:1).
In a Major League Soccer (MLS) match, "Inter Miami" with Serhiia Krivtsova suffered an away defeat to "Atlanta" (2:5).
On Sunday, September 17, in the fifth round of England's Premier League, "Bournemouth" with Iliy Zabarnyy drew at home against "Chelsea" Mikhail Mudryk, while "Everton" with Vitaliy Mykolenko lost to "Arsenal" Oleksandr Zinchenko in Liverpool (0:1).
Finally, on Monday, September 18, in the fifth round of Spain's La Liga, a goal by Viktor Tsygankov and an assist by Artem Dovbyk helped "Girona" defeat "Granada" away (4:2).
