The Ukrainian Vice-Champion, "Dnipro-1," has entered the second qualifying round of the Champions League. To reach the group stage of the CL, they need to overcome three opponents.

At the initial stage, Greek "Panathinaikos" became their opponent. The home match will be held in Košice, Slovakia on July 25, while the away game is scheduled for Athens on August 1.

Today, the black-and-yellow team learned of a potential opponent in the third qualifying round. According to the draw results, the winner of the duel between "Dnipro-1" and "Panathinaikos" will face French "Marseille." If they reach this stage, Dnipropetrovskians will play their first match at home on August 8/9, while the second game will be away on August 15.

In case of failure at any stage, "Dnipro-1" will move to the Europa League, but only reach the group stage if they manage to overcome one opponent in the Champions League. Otherwise, they will have to go through qualification for the EL as well.
