After the draw for the first and second preliminary stages of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine for the 2023/2024 season, which took place today at the House of Football, one of the honored guests, deputy commander of the 242nd Separate Battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Maxim Kolisnychenko, on behalf of his unit, presented a token of appreciation to Serhiy Rebrov.

"I want to present you, as both a football player and coach, with an expression of gratitude from the 242nd Separate Battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine for the Ukrainian Football Association, because you have repeatedly helped us during the war and before. We are very grateful. We do our job there, while you do yours here. I am honored," — noted the military officer who participated in the defense of Kyiv, combat operations in Bakhmut, and offensive operations on the Kharkiv axis, and holds a presidential award for military service.
