Nearly all of Ukraine's legionnaires have already started preparing for the new club season, while Serhiy Kryvtsov took a break from his American «Inter Miami» team only for the time of June matches under Sergiy Rebrov.

If we exclude our transatlantic compatriot, then Vladyslav Kochergin will be the first among Ukraine's legionnaires to play an official match in the 2023/2024 season. His «Rakow» is already scheduled to play its first qualifying round match of the Champions League tomorrow. On the home front, however, Kochergin and his teammates will face Warsaw's «Legia» in a battle for the Polish Super Cup on July 15. Rakow’s first match in the Ekstraklasa-2023/2024 season is set for July 22.

Apart from Kochergin, Roman Yaremchuk and Oleksandr Zinchenko among Ukraine's legionnaires may also play their first official matches outside of championships.

The former will play his «Club Brugge» in the second qualifying round of the Conference League on July 27 (the start of Belgium’s Pro League is on July 30), while the latter with «Arsenal» will compete against «Manchester City» for the Community Shield on August 6 (the Premier League starts on August 12).
