The cycle of classes within the Ukrainian Football Association project "Inclusive Football Sections" has been completed in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. The classes took place at School No. 19 (trainer - Vitaliy Merkushev, coordinator from the Kyiv Union of Football Associations - Volodymyr Maslov).

Vitaliy Merkushev noted: "For me, this was my first experience working on such a specific project, and I received invaluable emotional satisfaction from the progress demonstrated by the students at each class. The children showed persistent interest in football classes. They particularly enjoyed dynamic games with elements of football and relay races involving ball handling skills. Participants expressed their desire to continue engaging in sports, especially football. School administration also noticed increased activity among students, even those who were previously not observed as active. Parents thanked the project organizers for improvements in their children's physical and psychological well-being, which is extremely important during this difficult time."

This project within the UEFA Grassroots Football Charter, the Ukrainian Football Association aims to:

— improve the psychoemotional and physical state of children through their involvement in physical activities and socialization;

— change society's attitude towards people with disabilities;

— provide access to inclusive sports classes;

— unlock children's potential;

— unite children and adults, regardless of physical or mental development characteristics.

Inclusive football sections, which are open for children with special educational needs, have been established in 21 communities across Ukraine. Thanks to the UAF, these sections are equipped with children's football uniforms, balls, and necessary sports equipment.
