Ukraine's U-21 half-back Oleksandr Nazarenko shared his expectations for the Euro 2023 (U-21) match against Romania, which will take place today at the «Stadionul Național» in Bucharest (kick-off at 7:00 PM Kyiv time).
"A beautiful stadium, comfortable but a bit park-like. However, nothing to be afraid of, conditions are the same for both teams. By 7 o'clock, the field is already in the shade, I think everything will be fine."
The mood in the team is great; everyone is preparing and understands how important this game is for us. The match against Croatia added a lot of emotion to us, so we approach the second game on a positive note.
Romania is a fighting team. All their players will give 100%, as they have the whole stadium behind them, this is their 12th player. You can't single out anyone from the opposing footballers — everyone is good. It's going to be a tough, battle game," — noted Oleksandr Nazarenko.
