On June 10, the Ukraine national team, preparing for a friendly match against Germany, held their third training session in Bremen. The main focus was on refining tactical elements of the playing model that coach Serhiy Rebrov is preparing for the match.

The captain of the national team and footballer of Al-Ain, Andriy Yarmolenko, shared details about the team's work.

"The mood in the group is good; we try to encourage each other. But when you see what is happening in your country and what the terrorists are doing in Kherson, a good mood quickly disappears. However, I am confident that we will win thanks to our soldiers, everything will be fine.

We don't have as much time for preparation as we would like. Therefore, very intense days, theory twice a day. Yesterday there were two trainings, today — one, but normal training. The coach tries to explain his vision of the game — in attack and defense. The boys are trying to listen and follow what Serhiy Stanislavovich asks.

Rebrov is an experienced coach who has worked in many championships. I see that he chooses tactics based on players. There are small innovations, but generally speaking, the style of play that was at Al-Ain or Kyiv Dynamo when we worked together — I can't say that anything changed. Serhiy Stanislavovich loves intelligent football, not just defending or kicking the ball forward; he likes balance between attack and defense. It's interesting to listen to him, I see that the boys are interested in his tactical ideas. The most important thing is for us to execute on the pitch what he asks of us during training and theoretical sessions. Then, I'm sure there will be a positive result.

The German national team has always been and remains one of the best in the world. It's interesting to test ourselves at this level. Thank you to Germany for inviting us; may the strongest win. But the fact that this is a friendly match, the 1000th in their history, means nothing because we know that millions of our fans will support us from home. We want to show good football so people can enjoy it and get some positivity during these difficult times," — said Andriy Yarmolenko.

The match against Germany will be held by the Ukraine national team on June 12 in Bremen at the "Weserstadion." This will be a charity friendly match, which will become the 1000th in German history (start time — 6 PM Kyiv time).
