The final match of the Champions League in Istanbul, Manchester City — Inter (1:0), concluded the European club season-2022/2023. Based on its results, UEFA has formed a coefficient table for the five-year cycle 2018/2019–2022/2023.

For the current season, Shakhtar has accumulated 13 points (including four bonuses for reaching the group stage of the Champions League and one bonus for qualifying to the round of 16 in the Europa League), Dnipro-1 has 9 points (with one bonus for advancing to the play-off round of the Conference League), Dynamo Kyiv has 4.5, Zorya and Vorzel each have 1 point. Thus, Ukraine's total is 28.5 points or 5.7 points per team (28.5:5).

We remind you that Ukraine secured its strategic goal for the cycle in February — entering the top-15 of the coefficient table, as a lower position would result in losing one Champions League quota and sending four clubs to European competitions (instead of two and five teams respectively).

This table determines representation in the 2024/2025 European season, where it is planned to introduce a Swiss system for group stages with an increase in participants to 36. The 14th position that Ukraine finished in guarantees participation of five clubs: two in the Champions League (one in the second qualifying round and one in the play-off round), one in the Europa League (in the third qualifying round) and two in the Conference League (in the second qualifying round).
