In March, the Ukraine national futsal team secured first place in Group 11 of the main round qualification for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup and advanced to the elite round. Thanks to their high ranking, the blue-and-yellow team were placed into the top pot before the draw.

Based on the draw results, the Ukraine national futsal team ended up in Group B, where they will face teams from Poland, Serbia, and Belgium.

FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024. European Qualification

Elite Round

Matches: September 11–20, October 2–11, December 11–20, 2023.

Twenty national teams are divided into five groups of four teams each. Matches will be played home and away. The five group winners will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup. The top four second-place finishers will advance to the play-off round of the elite round.

Play-Off Round of the Elite Round

Draw: January 25, 2024.

Matches: April 8–17, 2024.

Four teams will be divided into two pairs. Matches will be played home and away. The winners of the pairs will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
