In both western Ukrainian cities, other representatives of home clubs join the team. After a night in central Zakarpattia, on Wednesday morning, the delegation will depart for Košice in Slovakia. From there, the youth national team will fly to Vienna and then travel directly by bus to their accommodation location in Styria (a federal state in southeastern Austria).

Foreign-based players will join the team in an Alpine country, and tomorrow evening, Ruslan Rotan's disposal should have 24 players. One footballer, Ivan Zhelizko, will arrive at the team's location on June 10 after playing for his club "Valmiera" in Latvia's championship the day before.

We remind you that during the Austrian training camp on the 16th, a friendly match between the youth national teams of Ukraine and Ireland will take place (kick-off at 7 PM Kyiv time). Additionally, the coaching staff is considering organizing another friendly game.

In June, Ukraine's youth national team will participate in the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21). In total, 16 teams will take part in the event taking place from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania. According to the draw results held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, blue-and-yellow will be placed in Group B, where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams of Euro-2023 (except for France and England) will receive Olympic tickets for the 2024 Olympics.
