To the social project "Open Football Lessons" for children affected by war, initiated by the Ukrainian Football Association and the Vinnytsia Regional Football Association, the Trostyanets community of Vinnytsia region has actively joined.

This time, participants in the project were students and teachers from Demkivska Gymnasium, Letkyvsky, Oleksandrivsky, Kapustyansky lyceums, and Illashivska Gymnasium.

The event for children was opened by the regional coordinator of the project from Vinnytsia OAF, Oleksandr Sydoruk, head of the Education, Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Department of Trostyanets City Council, Olha Pynko, and director of Demkivska Gymnasium, Svitlana Korol.

After the ceremonial part, 72 students went onto the field, among them were children from IDP families, children of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, children affected by war, and children from families in need of social support. All of them wore exclusive football shirts. They were greeted by teachers and volunteers who helped organize the event.

To get ready for the game, an interesting modern warm-up with musical accompaniment was conducted. Then they were divided into six groups and moved to sectors that the football field had been divided into. In each sector, they were met by volunteer coaches who organized various games, sports relays, and contests. Moving from one sector to another, children also visited a psychologist's sector and a safety sector. It was very interesting to talk with the psychologist; children gladly solved psychological situations and performed psychological exercises. The security sector was no less interesting, where they learned safe behavior in wartime under the guidance of a police officer.

All participants received not only an abundance of positive emotions and useful knowledge but also gifts—many footballs, equipment, and gear. Each child was awarded a diploma and sweets.

Parents and community representatives sincerely thanked the organizers for the opportunity to participate in the "Open Football Lessons" project.

All events of the project are held in regions with the approval of regional military administrations.

The Ukrainian Football Association, supported by Common Goal and the Cross-Cultural Projects Association (Denmark), continues the "Open Football Lessons" project, which includes:

— psychosocial support for children from IDP families, children of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and children affected by war;

— uniting and friendship between children from IDP families and local children, social integration;

— an inclusive environment regardless of ability level or gender, as well as the participation of children with special educational needs;

— knowledge about safety in wartime;

— the philosophy of mass football—joy from playing instead of results at any cost;

— fostering a healthy lifestyle;

— promoting volunteering;

— activating local communities through cross-sector networks (teachers, coaches, psychologists, security experts, parents, youth leaders, local authorities, benefactors, etc.).
