We remind you that 12 teams played according to the standard format in two rounds: 11 matches in the first round, which ended at the beginning of December 2022, and another 11 matches in spring 2023.

For the first time in the history of Ukrainian women's football, teams from the top league competed to determine two teams that will represent Ukraine in next season's Women's Champions League. Based on the results of the championship, the country's champion, Poltava's «Vorskla», will start its campaign at the first qualifying stage of the Champions Path, while the team that finished second in the league, Kryvyi Rih's «Krivbas», will play in the first round of the League Path. We add that the third place was taken by Kovalivka's «Colos».

The team that finished 12th in the final standings of the Ukrainian Championship top league for the 2022/2023 season, Kyiv's «Atex», will move to the first league.
