In accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 10 of the UP League Competition Regulations for the 2022/2023 season and Article 9, Paragraph 3 of the PFL Competition Regulations for the 2022/2023 season, "the participant whose main team finishes in 13th place in the final league table of the UP League must play two playoff matches against a team that finished fourth in the final league table of the first division championship of the PFL at the end of the season for the right to participate in the UP League in the next season. The participant whose main team finishes in 14th place in the final league table of the UP League must play two playoff matches against a team that finished third in the final league table of the first division championship of the PFL at the end of the season for the right to participate in the UP League in the next season. The home field is determined by a draw conducted by the Directorate."
Considering this, taking into account the competition calendar of the UP League, the international match calendar of the UAF and the national team matches schedule, the UP League and PFL have determined the following dates for the playoff matches for the right to participate in the 2023/2024 season of the UP League — June 10 and 14, 2023.
In addition, if players from teams participating in the UP League and PFL playoffs are called up for national and/or youth team duty, the playoff matches for the right to participate in the 2023/2024 season of the UP League will be held on June 8 and 12, 2023.
