In the central match of the 13th round, the favorite, "Niva" from Buzova, hosted "Zvyahel," which also has been performing successfully in the spring part of the season.
Already in the opening minutes, a penalty was awarded to the visitors' goal, but the home team's striker Ivan Somov missed it. However, midway through the first half, the Buzova players did manage to take the lead: goalkeeper of "Zvyahel" Andriy Omelyanuk failed to play out from the back, and Volodymyr Timenko scored — 1:0.
In the break, the guests' head coach Ruslan Skidan instructed his players to attack more down the flanks and be bolder in challenging for the ball. This adjustment showed results. The Polischuk team took control of the initiative, and on the 66th minute, defender Nazar Havryliuk, who was playing in the midfield this time, surprised "Niva's" goalkeeper Oleksandr Lytvynenko — 1:1.
The score could have changed in stoppage time, but first, an undisciplined Havryliuk missed from close range, and then Omelyanuk made amends for his mistake in the first half by parrying a dangerous shot from Yevhen Mykolayuk.
Buzova lost at home for the first time this season, although it continues to confidently lead, while "Zvyahel" has not yet lost its chances of securing second place, which grants access to promotion playoffs.
Among other results, we note a convincing victory by "Khusta" over "Kremen-2" — 4:0. The score was opened by Petro Lutsiv, and then his brother Vasyl completed a hat-trick.
But the goal-scoring race is led by Vinnytsia's Artyom Zagorulko, who scored a penalty today in the match against "Vasto" — he now has 11 goals to his name.
