From April 3, the national women's team of Ukraine held a training camp in the Polish town of Suwałki, during which Luis Cortés' wards combined training sessions with theoretical lessons.

Today, on April 9, the team is traveling to Estonia, where they will play a friendly match. The game between Estonia and Ukraine will take place at the support of the Estonian Football Association in Tallinn at the local stadium "Sportland Arena" (kick-off at 7 PM) and will be the first match for the blue-and-yellow team during their preparation phase before official League of Nations games.

We remind you that the 22 players called up by Luis Cortés include two debutantes - Daria Kelyushyk and Polina Yanchuk.

By the way, the confrontation between the national teams of Estonia and Ukraine will be the third in history. In 2012 they met during a European Championship qualifier - both times the Ukrainians won (5-0 and 4-1).

We remind you that the draw for the first Women's League of Nations is scheduled for May 2. The composition of the leagues and rankings before the draw will be determined by the current UEFA national women's team ranking. Currently, Ukraine ranks 22nd in the registry, which predicts a place in League C.

In 2023, for participants of the League of Nations, six game windows are planned: September 20-22 and 23-26, October 25-27 and 28-31, November 29 - December 1 and December 2-5.
