In the second round of Euro 2023 (U-19) qualification, Ukraine's under-19 futsal team will face Romania, Serbia, and ../../article/47358 the winner of Group B from the previous stage, which is Montenegro.

The mini-tournament will take place in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, from March 22 to 25. Today, blue-and-yellow will start with a match against Montenegro. Only the group winner will advance to the final tournament.

As part of their preparation for official matches, Igor Moskvichov's wards visited Croatia. Friendly games with the hosts of next Euro were the last part of the preparation before the main round qualifiers. The venue for the final tournament of Euro 2022/2023 futsal among under-19 teams was determined as Poreč (Croatia). In addition to hosts, Croatia, seven national teams will participate from September 3 to 10, who will be known after the second qualification round that ends on March 26. The format of the final tournament remains the same: eight participants play in two groups of four teams each, with the top two advancing to the semifinals.

The inaugural European Championship for under-19 futsal took place in Rijeka in 2019, and the second edition was held in Hagen in 2022 — both times (2019, 2022) Spain's team became champions. The second championship was initially planned for 2021 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ukraine's national team participated in both final tournaments. In 2019, Vitaliy Odegov's wards secured third place in their group, and in 2022 they stopped at the semifinals.
