Ukraine national team defender Denys Myronychenko spoke about his emotions from being called up to the national team for the first time — for a Euro 2024 qualification match against England.

"The call-up was unexpected for me. I had just returned home after my club's last game when the coach called. He said I would be going to training camp. Ruslan Petrovich asked if I was ready to play at 'Wembley.' We laughed a bit afterward. He supported me and said he was waiting for it. I was quite surprised, and now I'm overwhelmed with emotions. After all, this is my first call-up... It was very pleasant. This dream has come true."

Our opponent is one of the best national teams in the world, so expectations from the match are incredible. But we will only know how it's going to be after it ends. We're hoping for a positive result. It's such a big dream — to play at such a stadium," — Denys Myronychenko said.

Recall that the Euro 2024 qualification match between England and Ukraine will take place on March 26 in London (kickoff at 19:00 Kyiv time).
