Teams in League B, including those that were relegated after the autumn round from League A, compete in six groups (two with four participants and four with three) for spots in the first round of League A next season. The group winners and the best second-place team qualify.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian women's national team finished last in their Group B6 during the first round and was relegated to League B.

In League A, seven groups will feature 28 teams, including seven that rose from League B after the results of the first round. Seven group winners from the second round of League A (and the best runner-up if Estonia finishes first in their group) will earn spots at the final stage, matches for which will take place from May 14 to 26. Teams finishing fourth in groups will start the first round of the 2023/2024 season in League B.
