UEFA Youth League. "Shakhtar" U-19 lost to "Ghayduk" in the knockout match
In the Youth League UEFA match, Oscar Ratalutri's protégés lost to the Croatian "Hajduk".

Shakhtar's youth team secured the second spot in Group F of the UEFA Champions League Path and thus faced a play-off match against one of eight teams from the Champions League Path. By draw, Shakhtar was paired with Croatia's Hajduk Split.
Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side could not achieve success in Split. Hajduk Split won by the narrowest margin — 1:0. This concludes the European path of Shakhtar's youth team.
