The main contender for promotion to the first league, «Niva» from Buza, won the Memorial of legendary goalkeeper Oleg Makarov for the first time.

The final showdown with amateurs from «Штурма» (Ivankiv) was decided in a penalty shootout. The regular time ended in a draw — 1:1, and in what is known as the football lottery, the winning ticket went to the professionals led by Serhiy Karpenko. The best player of the tournament was recognized as Serhiy Zuyevych from «Niva,» who, incidentally, opened the scoring in the decisive match.

We add that the winners and laureates of the Oleksiy Makarov Memorial were greeted by first vice-presidents of the UAF Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko, Anatoliy Demianenko, and Vadim Kostiuchenko.

Meanwhile, the new head coach of «Chayka» (Petrovsky Borschagivka) was appointed Serhiy Syzikhin, known for his work with the first league team «Helios» from Kharkiv. The specialist has already been introduced to the team, and soon representatives of Kyivshchyna will begin preparing under his guidance for the spring part of the season.
