Players of the Ukraine national e-football team in the FIFA discipline, Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov, commented on their team's performance during the second game week of the 2023 FIFAe Nations Cup playoff round.

The Ukrainian team secured third place in division 1 conference 3 and dropped to a lower division.

"We played pretty well. Most matches were even. We won some, lost others, and sometimes we just didn't get lucky, like in the first game against Israel. We conceded an odd goal. So when we tried to build through the full-backs, they didn't always deliver accurate passes to develop quick attacks," — explained the reasons for errors in selection matches, the e-football player of blue-and-yellow Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai.

In turn, captain Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov highlighted the strength of opponents in the first division but emphasized that the team is capable of competing with top European teams: "We are used to playing fast attacking football. But national teams in the first division don't give many such opportunities. Opponents at this high level press well. It seemed like there should be free zones for quick counterattacks, but there weren't.

Against France, we knew we had nothing to lose. And played much more aggressively. We didn't let Poland do anything in the second match either. When you play decisive matches, everything depends on psychology. You want to press less and focus more on defense, passing back. You need to adjust and try to act as a first number.

We can play in the first division. The current 9 points there are more than we scored in previous years in the second division. We wanted to stay in the first division, but we gained valuable experience."
