"My main gratitude goes to UAF President Andriy Pavelko for trusting me at one point and recommending me to join the coaching staff of the national team — Shovkovskiy notes. — In my heart, there are always two teams — the national team and Kyiv's 'Dynamo'. Now I have chosen a path of personal coaching development by accepting an offer from my home club. Today, I am moving forward while at the same time being ready to return to work in the coaching staff of the main team if invited by UAF or the new head coach, combining it with club duties. I wish the national team new outstanding achievements! I do not say goodbye to the team but rather 'Until we meet again'. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the nation! Glory to the Armed Forces!"
The Ukrainian Football Association is grateful to Oleksandr Shovkovskiy for his professionalism and dedication to the interests of the national team. We wish Oleksandrov success in club work and new achievements in his coaching career.
