The Ukrainian youth team, which will participate in the Euro-2023 (U-21) final tournament this summer, is preparing for the prestigious event by holding a training camp in March during which it will play two friendly matches.

The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association approved the preliminary calendar for the national teams of Ukraine for 2023 at its meeting, according to FIFA windows for international matches. Thus, the youth team of Ukraine will play two friendlies during a training camp that will take place from March 20 to 27. It was already announced that on March 27 in Italy, the Ukrainian youth team will face the Italian youth team. Now it is known that on March 24 in Turkey, under the guidance of Ruslan Rotan, they will meet with the Danish youth team. The time and location of both matches will be announced later.

We remind you that this year the Ukrainian youth team will participate in the Euro-2023 (U-21) final tournament. In total, 16 teams will take part in the event taking place from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania. According to the draw results held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, blue-and-yellow Ukraine landed in Group B where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams of Euro-2023 (excluding France and England) will receive tickets to the 2024 Olympics.
