The Khmelnytsky region has joined the Ukrainian Football Association's project "Inclusive Football Sections." Specifically, in Stara Synyava, which recently hosted "Open Football Lessons," the first cycle of the project was completed, consisting of 20 sessions. Of course, the participants (mostly children with special educational needs) became active members.

The classes at the Stara Synyava lyceum were conducted by project coach Igor Yaroshenko.

In addition, another inclusive football section has started working in Khmelnytskyi, based on school No. 33 (coach — Oleh Stolyarchuk).

We remind you that before the start of the project, coaches underwent special training at a UAF seminar.

The regional coordinator for the project from the Khmelnytsky Oblast Football Association is Mykola Kuznetsov.

Through this project within the UEFA Grassroots Charter, the Ukrainian Football Association aims to:

— improve the psycho-emotional and physical state of children through their involvement in physical activities and socialization;

— change society's attitude towards people with disabilities;

— provide access to inclusive sports training;

— unlock children's potential;

— unite children and adults, regardless of physical or mental development.

Inclusive football sections, to which children with special educational needs are often enrolled, have opened in 21 communities across Ukraine. Thanks to the UAF, the sections are equipped with football uniforms for children, balls, and necessary sports equipment.
