On Friday, December 16, the Ukraine e-football team triumphantly concluded the first game week of qualification for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023.

The blue and yellow team is participating in the first qualifying round (play-in), which takes place in a 2vs2 format on PS5, starting in December 2022 and running until March 2023.

Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov, representing Ukraine in these competitions, began their game day with a loss to the Belgian team — 1:4. However, this defeat was the only setback for our e-football players, who subsequently continued to score points.

The head-to-head match against Switzerland for a top-2 spot ended in a decisive draw — 2:2. Matches with teams from Greece and Georgia were confidently won by the Ukrainian team, securing second place in Division 2's tournament table with 16 points.

Thus, together with the Belgian collective, the Ukrainian team earned the right to move up a class and enter Division 1 of Conference 3. It is here that the tickets for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoffs will be contested.

Matches of the second game week of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 play-in will take place on January 26-27, 2023.
