December 15–16, the Ukraine FIFA 23 eFootball national team will start its qualifying campaign for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023.

The Ukrainian team will be represented by four e-football players who became winners of the national selection: Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov (main squad), Denis ECF_Phoenix Yevtushyk and Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98x Gurmak (reserve squad).

Based on the draw results of the first qualifying round matches (play-in), Ukraine's national team will be in Conference 3 and will start its tournament path from Division 2.

In the opening week of the play-in round, blue-and-yellow teams will face Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, and Georgia.

Matches will take place in a round-robin format with BO1 (Best-of-One) rules. Therefore, over two game days, our national team will play eight matches. For victory in the play-in games, teams will earn 3 points, for a draw — 1 point, and for a loss — 0 points. The top two teams in their group at the end of virtual confrontations will advance to Division 1.

The top two teams from Division 1 of Conference 3 at the conclusion of the play-in round will secure spots in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoffs, where tournament slots for the eFootball World Championship will be contested.
